Zelda Houston

Zelda L. Houston, 86, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at her home.  Zelda was born to Harry and Myrtle (Schmidt) Brown on June 15, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI.

Zelda loved her family and was especially proud of her daughter Lynn.  She enjoyed playing video games with her grandchildren, scrapbooking, playing cards, listening to country music and watching her favorite tv classics like the Andy Griffith Show.  Zelda was naturally crafty and made many decorative items, but was especially skilled at crocheting.

Those left behind with cherished memories of Zelda include her daughter, Lynn (Joseph) Koeppen.  Grandchildren; Mac (Dawn) Moore, Crystal (Jason) Survis, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Zurn, Jacob (Paul) Moore and Cori (Corrie) Gonyer.  Great grandchildren; Samual Moore, Leah (Jim) Niehaus, Haley Survis, Emma Survis, Jaden (Kate) Zurn, JC Zurn, James Zurn, Cole Gonyer and Nathan Gonyer.

Zelda was preceded in death by her parents, great grandson Jase Zurn, as well as her beloved cat and companion Tiger.

The family would like to thank Sharon Richardson Hospice for their compassionate care and Wenig Funeral Home for assisting them in carrying out Zelda’s final wishes.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
