Winifred R. Jenkins, formerly of Sheboygan Falls, passed away Monday morning, April 14, 2025 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was 104 years old.
Winifred was born December 17, 1920 in Sheboygan Falls, the daughter of Clarence and Eunice (Ramaker) Holden. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1938.
On June 9, 1945 she was united in marriage with Stanley W. Jenkins at First Baptist Church. They were married for 45 years prior to his passing on December 21, 1990. Winifred worked as a secretary for Kohler Company and Methodist Church, and later as a bus driver for Heidenreiter Bus Services.
Winifred was a long-time member of Falls Community Church (formerly Sheboygan Falls First Baptist Church), where she served as a choir member and organist. She also held the position of church treasurer and was involved in numerous organizations, too many to list."
Winifred is survived by her daughters, Beverly Haag and Kathryn (Mark) Erickson, both of Sheboygan; Alan (Pat) Jenkins of Sheboygan Falls and Michael (Debra) Jenkins of Howards Grove; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; sister Betty Musil of Sheboygan Falls; daughters-in-law, Kathryn Sommerfeldt and Judy Jenkins; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, parents-in-law, Sons, Kenneth and Dennis Jenkins; son-in-law, Ronald Haag; sisters Dorothy (Eugene) Herber, Helen (Otto) Klunck, Virginia Blushkofski; brothers, Oliver “Bud” (Dorothy) Holden and Lt. Kenneth Holden; great-granddaughter, Danielle Patchak.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Falls Community Church. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 10:00AM-12:00AM. She will be laid to rest beside Stanley at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Falls Community Church or Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Countryside Manor for their compassionate and supportive care.
