William G. Geltemeyer, 100, of 219 Dicke Ave, Sheboygan Falls died on Thanksgiving morning, November 22, 2007 at the Sheboygan Progressive Care Center where he had resided since April. Bill was born in Raymond, Minnesota on November 20, 1907 and just recently observed his 100th birthday with family and friends. He was the son of the late Henry and Henrietta (Lange) Geltemeyer. Bill lived in Texas until he moved to Sheboygan Falls in 1930. On September 14, 1935 he married the late Wilma Sturdivant in Sheboygan. She preceded him in death on October 11, 1997. Bill was a crane operator at the Kohler Co. for 38 years before his retirement in 1974. Bill was the oldest living member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls, the Old Timers Club, and the Kohler Quarter Century Club. He was an avid bowler and was the oldest sanctioned bowler in the State of Wisconsin until 2004. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. He is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Kenneth) Horn of Woodruff; two sons, David (Pat) Geltemeyer of Portage and Gary Geltemeyer of Oakland, California; nine grandchildren; Scott (Julie), Todd, Chris (Tsvety), Kari, and Kyle Geltemeyer, Greg (Ingrid), Terry (Debbie), Kurt (Cricket), and Tom (Lisa) Horn; four great grandchildren, Stephanie and Michelle Horn, Tyler and Sarah Geltemeyer; and one great great grandson, Aiden Horn; nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his wife, four sisters, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at 1:30 pm with the Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Sunday from Noon until the time of service at 1:30 pm.
