Wayne Mueller

Wayne A. Mueller, 71, of Cascade, passed away on Friday morning, March 11, 2011 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Wayne was born on March 15, 1939 in Sheboygan to Frank and Wilma (Maertz) Mueller. He was a 1957 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. Wayne married Donna Rae Durfee in Sheboygan. He worked at Thomas Industries and General Telephone for many years, retiring in 2002. Wayne loved his log home in the woods. He enjoyed hunting and weekly Packer parties with his friends. He loved playing chess and was an avid reader of history and science fiction. Wayne is survived by his wife, Donna Rae Feldes; four daughters, Deborah Guell of Fond du Lac, Pamela (Bob) Boesch of West Bend, Nancy (Jerry) Groth of Grafton and Lisa Lee (Joel) Guell of Eden; two sons, Donald Jeffrey Bath of Hartford and Scott (Laurel) Bath of Grafton; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Julie (George) Grinde of Manitowoc; two brothers, John (Elizabeth) Grober of Delavan and Joey (Arlene) Grober of Greenfield; one sister-in-law, Mary Louise Gierach; one brother-in-law, Robert (Patricia) Durfee. Wayne is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Frank Mueller and his mother, Wilma (John) Grober. A memorial service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Don Hasse officiating. Inurnment will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan at a later date. Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
