Wayne D. Dana, 73, formerly of Cedar Grove and Oostburg died on Friday evening, March 11, 2016 at the Sheboygan Progressive Care Center where he resided for the past eight years. Wayne was born on February 14, 1943 in Sheboygan, the son of Delmar and Lucille (Daane) Dana. He graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1961. Wayne worked at Willman Industries in Cedar Grove for over 40 years before his retirement in 2005. Wayne was a member of the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Cedar Grove Fire Dept. Wayne enjoyed raising homing pigeons, bowling, fishing, boating and was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Bucks. Wayne cherished the time he could spend with his family. He is survived by two brothers, David (Kathy) Dana of Sheboygan and Larry (Diane) Dana of Oostburg; five nieces and nephews, Tracy (Tom) Weimann, Debra (Jeff) Wollert, Heather (Travis) Martens, Kevin (Sadie) Dana, and Ryan (Heather) Dana; 13 great nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 10:30 am with the Rev. Al Schut officiating. Burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the church on Tuesday from 9 am until the time of the service at 10:30 am.
