Walter R. Frazier, 74, of W2184 Hoftiezer Road, Oostburg, died unexpectedly on Sunday morning, December 20, 2009 at his residence. Wally was born on January 16, 1935 in Sheboygan, the son of the late Clarence and Nellie (Blok) Frazier. He attended Lakeview School in the Town of Holland. On December 17, 1960 he married Diane Hartlaub in Oostburg. Wally worked at Leer Industries for 14 years until his retirement in 1999. Previously he worked at Hayssen Mfg and Hydraulic Tools. He was a lifelong member at the First Christian Reformed Church in Oostburg. Wally enjoyed woodworking, cars, racing, John Deere tractors, hunting, fishing, traveling, playing cards and spending time with his two granddaughters Wally is survived by his wife, Diane; one daughter, Lorann (Kent) TenHaken of Oostburg; two sons, Leonard Frazier of Mazomanie and Lawrence Frazier of Sheboygan; two granddaughters, Kimberly Roethel and Maggie TenHaken; and one brother, Marvin (Sharon) Frazier of Adell. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held at the First Christian Reformed Church in Oostburg at 3 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 with the Rev. Dr Les Kuiper officiating. Friends may greet the family at the church on Wednesday from 1 pm until the time of the service at 3 pm.
