Wallace Dobrzynski

Wallace M. Dobrzynski, 79, of Sheboygan Falls, found his peace on Tuesday morning, January 17, 2012 at Sunny Ridge Health Care Center in Sheboygan, where he resided for the past five days. Wally was born on April 24, 1932, in Sheboygan Falls, son of Stanley and Mary (Wilcenski) Dobrzynski. He was a 1951 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. Wally served in the US Army from 1953-1955. On September 10, 1960 he married RuthAnn Schramm in Sheboygan Falls. Wally was employed as a distribution center inspector at the Kohler Company for 37 years until his retirement in 1997. Wally was a lifelong member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls where he was active in the choir. He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club and the Old Timers Club. Wally enjoyed bowling, softball with the Blust Porkies, going for walks, watching the Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Green Bay Packers, gardening, flowers, bird watching, coin collecting, reading morning newspapers, watching westerns on TV, and the outdoors. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he enjoyed attending their activities. Wally was devoted to his wife, family, and faith. Wally is survived by his wife of 51 years, RuthAnn; two daughters, Debby (special friend Randy Morgan) and Judy (Duane) Woelfel, both of Sheboygan Falls; two sons, Tim Dobrzynski and Dan Dobrzynski, both of Sheboygan Falls; two grandchildren, Nathan (friend Lyza) Woelfel and Charlene Woelfel; one sister, Ginny Rettler of Sheboygan Falls; three sisters-in-law, Betty Dobrzynski of Plymouth, Patricia Stewart of Sheboygan and Carol (Keith) Darling of Sheboygan. Wally is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wally was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Mary Dobrzynski; parents-in-law, Henry and Rose Schramm; three brothers, Ted (Mildred), Leo, and Chet (Ceil) Dobrzynski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Blessed Trinity Parish with the Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday from 3:00 until 8:00 pm and also at the church on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at 10:00 am. A memorial fund has been established in Wally's name for Blessed Trinity Parish and the VNA.
