Virgil G. Mullikin, age 88, of Hingham, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. He was born on June 14, 1934, in Bell Center, Crawford County, WI to the late Gilbert and Gladys Mullikin. On January 17, 1959, he married Eleanor Stokdyk. Eleanor passed away on December 12, 1987. On October 20, 1989, he married Marion Prinsen Hilbelink.
As a young teenager, he came alone by train to stay with his sister in the Waldo area. He worked at many local dairy farms for room and board. He attended Waldo High School. He continued to be involved in both businesses. After his retirement, he remained active by doing projects such as fixing things, working with his backhoe and building small woodworking items for his family. He was truly blessed.
