Thomas W. Deibert II, 25, of 434 Pine St., Sheboygan Falls, died suddenly on Sunday, April 12, 2009. He was born August 25, 1983 in El Paso, Texas, the son of Scott and Patricia (Eakin) Deibert. Thomas was a 2002 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School and attended one year at UW-Oshkosh. He was a chef at the Bread and Bean Eatery for the past 1 ½ years. Thomas was confirmed at First United Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Thomas was a member of the Sheboygan Falls Football Alumni Association. He was a member of the Sheboygan Falls High School conference championship football teams his sophomore, junior and senior years and the State Championship Team in 2000. Thomas enjoyed fishing, video games, cooking, playing bass guitar, all types of music, college basketball and was a Green Bay Packers fan and an avid Penn State fan. Thomas was a peacemaker and fought for equality and equity among all people. He was a loving person who cherished his family and friends. Survivors include his parents, Scott and Patricia Deibert of Sheboygan Falls; a daughter, Allison; one brother, Jonathan Deibert of Sheboygan Falls; one sister, Cynthia Vought of Harrisburg, Penn.; grandparents, Harry and Barbara Eakin of Utica, Penn., Laura Deibert of Palmyra, Penn.; two nephews, Jacob and Joseph Vought; one niece, Janessa Vought; many uncles, aunts, and cousins from throughout the country. Thomas is also survived by Cynthia's fiancé, John Dickson and his six children of Harrisburg, Penn, and a good family friend, "Uncle Joe" Barrick of Mechanicsburg, Penn. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas William Deibert I. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls, with the Rev. Donald Drollinger, pastor, officiating. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 3-7 p.m. and at church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
