Thomas Herr

Thomas H. Herr, 72, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at his home. Tom was born on February 23, 1941, in the Town of Centerville in Manitowoc County, the son of Alfred and Emma (Wagner) Herr. Tom graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1959. He was a material handler for Tecumseh Products in New Holstein for over 30 years before his retirement. Tom enjoyed racing, golf, breakfast with his friends, and family gatherings. Tom is survived by three daughters, Ginger (Chris) Ewing of Texas, Sally (Dave) Klein of Sheboygan, Sandy (Todd Huibregtse) Madson of Sheboygan; eight sons, Dave (Barb) Herr of Sheboygan, Dr. Tom Herr Jr. of Montana, Rick Herr of Sheboygan Falls, Michael Herr of Francis Creek, Scott Madson of Sheboygan Falls, Steve (Trisha) Madson of Arkansas, Shawn (Kristin) Madson of Sheboygan Falls, and Stan (Stacey) Madson of Arizona; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Donnie (Cindy) Herr of North Carolina; and his former wife, Patti Watt of Sheboygan. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his life partner, Bonnie Madson and his sister, Janet Passmore. A funeral to celebrate Tom's life will take place at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 6 pm with Rev. Susan Safford-Gaul officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-6 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Tom's name for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the American Diabetes Assoc.
