Thomas Budney

Thomas P. Budney, 76, of Sheboygan Falls and originally from Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2009 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Tom was born on June 27, 1932 in Wauwatosa, the son of the late Alois and Harriet (Wacholz) Budney. He graduated from Bayview High School in 1951 and served in the US Army from 1953-55. On September 3, 1966 he married Jean Diers and spent many happy years living in Milwaukee before moving to Sheboygan Falls. He retired from the Ladish Co. in Cudahy in 1996 where he had worked as an advertising manager. His real passion was classical music and art. He spent his life creating many paintings, drawings, and wood carvings. Tom is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Rich (Angie) Budney of Duluth, MN and David Budney of Milwaukee; three grandsons, Nathan, Evan, and Nicholas Budney of Duluth; two sisters, Patricia (Fred) Learman of Milwaukee, and Carol Packard of Dallas, TX; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Al; brothers-in-law, Bob Diers and Tom Packard, and a sister-in-law, Glaurus Diers. A Memorial Mass will take place at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at 11 am with the Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Friends may greet the family at the church on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of Mass at 11 am.
