Susan B. Sorenson

Susan B. Sorenson passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. She was 76 years old.

Susan was born December 16, 1947 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Marvin and Lillian (Jorsch) Madson. She attended school in Sheboygan, graduating from Sheboygan South High School in 1966. 

On May 20, 1967, she was united in marriage with Terrence “Terry” Sorenson at Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls. 

For over 25 years, Susie worked as an office manager for Sheboygan Carton Company and Waste Materials in Sheboygan.

Susie was a member of the Kettle Moraine Corvette Club, and the Sportscar Club of America. A car and racing fan, she enjoyed time spent at Road America, both volunteering and enjoying the races. An avid scrapbooker, Susie was always snapping pictures of her grandchildren to fill her albums. She was a diehard HGTV fan, loved the Green Bay packers, and above all cherished time spent with her family and friends. Everybody loved Susie, and she will be missed dearly. 

Susie is survived by her husband Terry; their daughters Veronica (Forrest) Kahl of Howards Grove and Kathryn (Michael) Jensen of Sheboygan; grandchildren Christopher (Amanda) Patron, Cassidy Kahl, Connor Kahl, Tyler Jensen and Alivia Jensen and great-grandchild Maliyah Patron. She is further survived by her sister Cheryl Schillingowski of Manitowoc; sister-in-law Bonnie Brunmeier of Sheboygan Falls; brother-in-law Scott (Chris) Sorenson of Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law Leroy and Wanna Sorenson, and sister Kathleen Burger. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Wednesday, September 25 from 4:00-6:00PM and again on Thursday, September 26 from 10:00-11:00AM. 

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund. 

The family would like to thank Matthews Oncology for their compassionate care and support over the last 1 ½ years.
