Stephen T. Mullen, 60, of 703 Pine Street, Sheboygan Falls, died on Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center. Stephen was born on March 28, 1949 in Plymouth, son of the late Thomas James and Geraldine (Lueke) Mullen. He was a 1967 graduate of Kohler High School and served as a Staff Sargent in the United States Air Force from 1968 until 1972. On June 5, 1971 he married Paulette J. Kaiser at Bentwaters Air Force Base in England. Stephen was employed with the Hi-Lite Machine Company for 32 years until leaving in 2006. Stephen was a member of Zion Evangelical Covenant Church in Sheboygan. He had a love for old cars, shows, races, and working with his hands just like "Tim the tool man" . Stephen was known for helping anyone, day or night, helping neighbors and friends, and living life to the fullest. Survivors include his wife, Paulette; two daughters, Natalya Van Maastricht of Manitowoc, Alyssa Mullen (Craig Olson, Special friend); one son, Sean Mullen of Sheboygan Falls; five grandchildren, Hunter, Chase, Hoyt, Ariana, Robert; two brothers, Luke (Peggy) Mullen of Gwinn, MI, Scott (Jean) Mullen of Sheboygan; mother-in-law, Shirley Franzen of Sheboygan Falls; one brother-in-law, Gary (Debbie) Kaiser of Sheboygan Falls; Michael Van Maastricht of Manitowoc; one uncle, Harold Kissinger of Stone Lake, WI; one aunt, Marjorie Blonnigan of St Cloud; Jay Maldonado of Manitowoc, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 6:00 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Steve Pedersen officiating. A private family burial will take place at the Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in his name for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
