Sharon Skeris

Sharon A. Skeris, 67, of Kohler passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at her home. Sharon was born on January 31, 1948 in Sheboygan to Raymond and Mildred (Leibe) Clark. Sharon was a 1966 graduate of Kohler High School. On May 20, 1967 she married Charles Thurber and they had one son. On June 19, 2004 she married James J. Skeris. Sharon retired from Aurora Healthcare as an administrative assistant. Sharon was a member of the NRA and enjoyed targeting shooting at the range. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, and sailing. Sharon loved the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and her beloved pets, Mork, Mindy, and Missy. Sharon is survived by her husband, James J. Skeris; one son, Steve (fiancé Debbie Brinker) Thurber; her mom, Mildred Clark; two step children, Michelle (Robert) Kleinschmidt and Michael (Terry) Skeris; five step grandchildren, Jackson, Elena, and Mayella Brinker, Zachary and Katherine Kleinschmidt; one brother-in-law, Pete Skeris; two nephews, Christopher Clark and Erie Clark; and dear friends, Todd and Michelle Patterson. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, and her brother, Ronald (Debbie) Clark. A memorial service to celebrate Sharon's life will be on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 3pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Matthew Widder officiating. Relatives and friends may gather on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Wenig Funeral Home from 1pm until the time of service at 3pm. A memorial fund is being established in Sharon's name.
