Sharlene Joan Meyer, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 13, 2022 at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

Sharlene J. Woodworth was born to Robert Charles and Edna Mary (Lang) Woodworth on May 13, 1938, in Sheboygan Falls. She was a 1956 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School and worked in banking for over 25 years.

On September 19, 1959, she married her best friend, Norbert A. Meyer at First Baptist Church in Sheboygan Falls. They were married for 58 years. Norbert preceded her in death on August 12, 2018.

Sharlene was an active member of Saron UCC where she sang in the senior choir, served on ladies’ aid, and was active in many other volunteer opportunities and fellowship activities throughout the years. Additionally, she was a proud Eastern Star and a longtime member and supporter of 4-H. She enjoyed needlework, crocheting, wordsearches and above all, time spent with her family.

Sharlene is survived by her four sons, Jeff (Karen) Meyer of Hartford, Randy (Cherie) Meyer of Tomahawk, Michael (Judy) Meyer of West Bend, and Karl (Cheryl) Meyer of Fond du Lac; four granddaughters, Randa (Christopher Michael Daely) Meyer, Serena Meyer, Holly (Russell) Beine, and Amy Meyer; two step-grandchildren, Angela (Timothy) DeToni and Andrew Otis; and two step-great-grandchildren, Landon and Gemma DeToni; and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Meyer; infant daughter, Monica Meyer; parents, Robert & Edna Woodworth; brother, Herbert C. Woodworth.

A funeral service to celebrate Sharlene’s life will take place at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Saron UCC (W3830 County Road J in Sheboygan Falls) with Rev. RaeAnn Beebe officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family for a time of visitation from 10:30AM until the time of service at 12:00PM. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in her name for Sheboygan Area Humane Society or Sandy Paws.
