Shane Johnstone

Shane R. Johnstone, 43, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at his home. Shane was born on June 7, 1971, in Plymouth, son of Sandra (Ter Maat) and Roger Berg. He graduated from Sturtevant High School. Shane was employed as a Die Caster with JL French and Kohler Company. Shane attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Shane is survived by his mother, Sandy (Roger) Berg of Florida; his fiancée, Leslie Stepniewski of Sheboygan Falls; his daughters, Jade and Sami Johnstone of Plymouth; his son, Kaleb Johnstone of Sheboygan Falls; one granddaughter, Annabelle Johnstone of Plymouth; two sisters, Lori Johnstone of Tennessee and Shelli (Steve) Ashcraft of Florida; and two brothers, Jeff Arndt of Florida and Shawn (Debi) Johnstone of Plymouth. Shane is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, his great-grandparents, and his cousin, Nikki. Funeral services to celebrate Shane's life will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Mark Janzen officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 4:00 pm.
