Samantha Meinnert

Samantha Ann Meinnert, 29, of Plymouth, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at her home after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.Samantha was born on November 11, 1987, in Sheboygan, to Jerry and Debra (Hoard) Wehrmann. She was a 2006 graduate of Howards Grove High School, then obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in special education from UW- Stevens Point. On August 22, 2009, she married Eric Meinnert at First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls.Samantha was a member of Gibbsville Reformed Church. Samantha enjoyed the outdoors,sports, especially playing softball, running, camping, playing cards, games, and taking walks with her buddy, Cooper. Samantha loved being a wife and mommy, and dedicated herself to raising and home schooling their two beautiful daughters. Her family was her number one priority and her pride and joy in life. Samantha is survived by her husband, Eric Meinnert; her two daughters, Grace and Harper; her dad, Jerry (Carol) Wehrmann; her mom, Debra (Neal) Henschel; one sister, Katie Wehrmann; one sister-in-law, Julie (Jason) Mentink; one brother-in-law, Tyler Meinnert; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Carol Meinnert; her grandpa, Roger Wehrmann; her grandma, Marion Hoard; two grandmas-in-law, Lorraine Mentink and Jeanette Meinnert; and nephew, John Mentink. Samantha is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.Samantha was preceded in death by her grandma, Norma Wehrmann; grandpa, Harold Hoard; two grandpa's-in-law, Norbert Meinnert and Meryl Mentink.A funeral service to celebrate Samantha's life will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 11:30am at the Gibbsville Reformed Church in Gibbsville with Rev. David Krueger officiating. A private burial will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.Relatives and friends may greet the family at Gibbsville Reformed Church in Gibbsville on Friday, October 6, 2017, from 3:30-7pm and again on Saturday, October 7, 2017, from 10:30 am until the time of service at 11:30 am.A memorial fund is being established in her name to further Grace and Harper Meinnert's education.For online condolences and additional information please visit www.wenigfh.com.
