Sally L. Buffington, 76, of Sheboygan Falls died peacefully at her home on Sunday morning, April 15, 2012 with family at her side. Sally was born on March 19, 1936 in Rozellville in Marathon County, WI, the daughter of the late Elmer and Louise (Pankratz) Wunsch. Sally graduated from Columbus High School in Marshfield in 1954. On June 2, 1956 Sally married the late John G. "Jack" Buffington in Marshfield. He preceded Sally in death on April 8, 1984. Sally was a printer for Donahue & Assoc. in Sheboygan for 25 years before her retirement in 2001. Sally was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls, the Friends Club, the Quilters, and a volunteer at the Gathering Place. She enjoyed attending activities at the Sheboygan Falls Senior Center, quilting, fishing and camping at Riley Lake, softball, playing cards, and gardening. Sally enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren's sporting and school events. Sally is survived by two daughters, Trudi (Steve) Delain of Madison and Kim (friend Lee Schueffner) Buffington of Sheboygan Falls; two sons, Dean (Kathy) Buffington of Appleton and Mark (Debra) Buffington of Howards Grove; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five brothers, Larry (Sharon) Wunsch of Fond du Lac, Charles (Diane) Wunsch of Sussex, Paul (Kathy) Wunsch of Hartland, Kenneth (Leah) Wunsch of Port Washington, and James (Rosie) Wunsch of Sheboygan Falls. Sally was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John "Jack"; two daughters, an infant Sandra Buffington and Vicki Eigenberger. A memorial service to celebrate Sally's life will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 3 pm with the Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Inurnment will take place at St Mary Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Friends and family may gather at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday from 11 am until the time of the service at 3 pm.
