Ruth McCue

Ruth A. McCue, 61, of Crivitz and formerly of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013, at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette. Ruth was born on December 1, 1951, in Sheboygan, daughter of James and Laura (Bau) Schwarten. She was a 1970 graduate of Sheboygan South High School. On June 3, 1972, she married Dennis M. McCue in Sheboygan. Ruth was employed at Acuity Insurance Co. for 25 years until her retirement in 2007. Ruth was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Sheboygan. She was a member of the Red Hat Society- Dockside Chapter, and the Sheboygan Bowling Association. Ruth enjoyed bowling, karaoke, boating, spending time up north, the Christmas season, holiday family gatherings, and spending time with her friends. Ruth is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dennis; her daughter, Shelly (Josh) Koalenz of Sheboygan; her son, Bryan McCue of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, Jasmine McCue and Drew Koalenz; and two brothers, James (Gloria) Schwarten of Sheboygan and Richard Schwarten of Sheboygan. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service to celebrate Ruth's life will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, August 19, 2013, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Mark Jaberg officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Ruth's name for the Parkinson Foundation.
