Roger Lawrence Sr.

Roger C. Lawrence, Sr., 61, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Roger was born on November 19, 1949, in Minneapolis, MN, son of Charles and Donna (Kienberger) Lawrence. He attended school in Sheboygan Falls. In February of 1969 he married Alice Rios in Sheboygan. On January 22, 1982 he married Carrie Theobald in Sheboygan Falls. For many years Roger owned and operated RC's Bar in Sheboygan. Roger loved spending time with his grandbabies, reading, watching NASCAR and the Packers. Roger is survived by his wife, Carrie; three daughters, Michelle Lawrence of Sheboygan, Trish (Travis) Siebert of Sheboygan and Beth (Jeremy) Engelman of Kohler; three sons, Roger Jr. (Kelly Blake) Lawrence of York, SC, Michael (Heather) Lawrence of Sheboygan and Anthony Lawrence of Sheboygan Falls; 13 grandchildren, Cassandra, Amanda, Moriah, Becca, Jeffrey, Mykayla, Salena, Eryka, Aleah, Samantha, Alicia, Maria and TJ; one great-granddaughter, Kyrie; one sister, Jeanie Karls of Sheboygan Falls; two brothers, Curt (Debbie) Lawrence of Sheboygan Falls and Terry Lawrence of Sheboygan; mother-in-law, Kathy Theobald of Sheboygan Falls. Roger is also survived by other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Robert and Chuck, brother-in-law Tom Theobald. A memorial service to celebrate Roger's life will be held at6:30 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Todd Smith officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:30 pm until the time of the service at 6:30 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Roger's name. Roger's family would like to give special thanks to the staff of St. Nicholas Hospice, St. Nicholas Dialysis Center, Dr. Johnson, and Roger's mother-in-law, for their wonderful care and compassion.
