Robert Wallace

Robert J. (aka "Wally" or "Bob") Wallace, 66, of Howards Grove, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at his home. Robert was born on September 29, 1948, in Ripon, Wisconsin, son of John J. and Blanche A. (Campion) Wallace. He was a graduate of Ripon High School and received his Associate's degree from Oshkosh Technical College. Robert was employed as an Electric Melt Controller for Kohler Company for 40 years and one day. Robert was a member of the National Wildlife Organization. He enjoyed nature hikes, spending time with his family, and going out to dinner and enjoying a good glass of red wine. Robert will always be remembered for going out of his way to make others smile and laugh. Robert is survived by his (step)daughter, Kim (John) Laufer of West Bend; his (step)son, Bryan (Victoria) Nemec of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Beatrice, Jonathan, and Breleigh Laufer; one brother, William (Martha) Wallace of Ohio; one sister, Barbara Hollar of Texas; his special niece, Rachael Curtis of Illinois; and his cat, Tucker. Robert is further survived by two nieces, Alyson Davey and Sarah Sullivan, both of Texas, a nephew, Tyler Wallace of California, other relatives, and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service to celebrate Robert's life will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Bledsoe officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:30 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Robert's name for the American Cancer Society.
