Robert George Schumacher II, 91, of Sheboygan Falls, went home on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Pine Haven Christian Communities.
Bob was born on October 4,1933, to Robert and Oyssie (Record) Schumacher I. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1955-1959. He was united in marriage to Carol Landgraf on September 2, 1961. Together, they raised their family in Glendale. Carol passed away on September 9, 2024, shortly after their 63rd anniversary and they are now reunited again.
Bob was a Marquette graduate with a master’s degree in mechanical and electrical engineering. His lifelong career as an engineer carried over into retirement. He enjoyed working in his workshop and using his gifts to bless others by designing, creating, and fixing things, always wanting to make them better. He had a love for the Lord and read the Bible multiple times a year.
Bob is survived by his children, Karen Cannon, Robert (Robyne) Schumacher, Susan Conway; grandchildren, Holly (Marcus) Waugh, Caleb (Alys) Cannon, Mackenzie Cannon; great-grandchild, James Cannon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; son, Stuart Schumacher; son-in-law, Marty Conway; parents and siblings.
Private family services will be held. He will be laid to rest next to Carol at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler.
