Robert Roehre

Robert M. Roehre, 84, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth. Bob was born on July 4, 1932 in Sheboygan to Henry and Ida (Mayer) Roehre. He was a 1950 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. He served his country in the United States Army from 1954-1956. He worked over 30 years at Tecumseh as an inspector until his retirement in 1998. Bob was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls and a member of the Friedrichs-Mueller-Norgaard American Legion Post 149. Bob had a love for horses and was a member of the Black River Riding Club. He enjoyed playing golf, especially on the Quit Qui Oc golf league, listening to polka music, dancing, taking drives on the back roads and going up north. Bob is survived by one sister, Kathleen (Dick) Burich of Sheboygan; one sister-in-law, Nancy Roehre of Plymouth ; one brother-in-law, Don Birkholz of Elkhart Lake and special friend, Jodi. He is further survived by 19 nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, David Roehre and Tom (JoAnn) Roehre; one sister, Marie Birkholz. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Bob's life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Blessed Trinity Parish at 11 am, with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, November 10, 2106 at the church from 9 am until the time of service at 11 am. A memorial fund is being established in Bob's name.
