Robert Peterson

Robert Louis Peterson, 71, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017, at his home.Robert was born on May 8, 1946, in Marshfield to Alfred and Edna (Schmitt) Peterson. He was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High. On December 2, 1967, Robert married Judy Gaffney in Marshfield. Robert worked at Stoelting Polar Ware Company until his retirement in 2012.He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, golfing, watching the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers, and spending time with his family and friends. Robert is survived by his wife, Judy Peterson of Sheboygan Falls; one son, Michael (Jennifer) Peterson of Cleveland; one daughter, Jodie (James) Brugoto of Sheboygan Falls; five Grandchildren, Jessica Boley, Alyssa Brugoto, Alex Brugoto, Andrew Peterson, Anthony Peterson; and two sister-in-laws, Sharon (Larry) Boushon, Debbie Gaffney. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Edna Peterson; one brother, Donald Peterson; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Holyrod, and Kathy Joyce; and two brothers-in-law, Gary Gaffney, and James Gaffney.A memorial service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017, at 3:00 pm at Wenig Funeral Homes in Sheboygan Falls. An inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may greet the family at Wenig Funeral Homes in Sheboygan Falls on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm.
