Robert Musebeck

Robert J. Musebeck, 91, of Cedar Grove, died at home Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Bob was born on April 16, 1927 in Rochester, N.Y. and was the son of Frank & Beatrice (Miller) Musebeck. He graduated from Pine Crest School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He worked for Musebeck Shoe Company for 15 years and then worked for Mayline Company out of Sheboygan, WI and traveled through the New England and N.E. states for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII and was a member of the American Legion. Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Hazel (Huibregtse) Musebeck. Bob was a member of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Cedar Grove and also served as an elder. Bob enjoyed spending time with people in his family and his church. He is survived by his daughter Kim (Richard) Smith of Danboro, PA; eight grandchildren, William (Clorette) Hahn, Jr., Wendy (Steven) Laughlin, Tracy (Jason) Oswald, Shanna (Jamie) Smith, Wesley (Mary) Musebeck, Kelly (Joel) Smith, Rob (Kiersten) Smith, Kevin (Fiancé, Rhiannon) Smith; 7 ½ great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law, William Hahn Sr.; Thomas Knight; daughter-in-law, Sharon Musebeck; brother-in-law, Roger W. (Linda) Huibregtse; and a sister-in-law, Roberta Huibregtse. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife, Hazel Musebeck; three daughters, Heidi Hahn, Debra Knight, and Barbara Musebeck; son, Frank Musebeck; sister, Gloria (Raymond) Zadra; sisters-in-law, Edith (Marvin) Bruggink, Geneieva Huibregtse, Carol (Victor) Healy; brother-in-law, Richard Huibregtse.A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019, at Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Cedar Grove with Rev. David Cornette officiating. Burial will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the church will be held at the church from 9:45 am until the time of service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
