Robert "Burn Out Bob" Leubke, 67, of 1305 New York Avenue, Sheboygan, died on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at St. Nicholas Hospital following complications of a stroke. Bob was born on November 16, 1940 in Oak Creek. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. Bob married the late Judith Klabunde in Milwaukee in June of 1972. She preceded him in death on November 12, 2004. Bob drove a fuel delivery truck for ZTC Trucking and Klemm Tank Lines. Robert belonged to the Civic Riders Motorcycle Club and Summer Knights Car Club. He owned Harleys and classic cars all of his life. He enjoyed telling the stories of his adventures with his cars. His favorite vehicles owned were a '64 Ford Galaxy 500, a '47 Chevy Street Rod, and a '48 Harley. He enjoyed going to car shows, working on his cars, and cruzin'. He is survived by his daughter, Jenni Leubke of Sheboygan; one son, Ricky Hammerberg of Rocky Knoll; and three grandchildren Jill, Adam, and Tracy Hammerberg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith; one daughter, Traci Hammerberg; a son, Bobby Leubke Jr.; and his parents. A casual gathering will be held at the Town of Holland Hall, W3005 County Road G, Cedar Grove on Sunday, from 4-8 pm.
