Robert Hocevar

Robert J. "Bob" Hocevar, 67, of Sheboygan died on Friday morning, January 2, 2015 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Bob was born on September 1, 1947 in Sheboygan, the son of the late Arthur and Charlotte (Erbstoesser) Hocevar. Bob graduated from Kohler High School in 1965 and then served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1968-70. Bob was a postal clerk for the US Postal Service in Sheboygan for 31 years before his retirement in 2009. Bob married Roberta "Robin" Trimberger on September 1, 2009 in Sheboygan. Bob is survived by his wife, Robin of Sheboygan; two step-daughters, Renee (Kevin) Carr of Virginia and Rebecca (Nathan) Luedtke of Oostburg; one step-son Ryan (Julie) Bruggink of Oostburg; seven grandchildren, Jake and Noah Carr, Brandon, Jayden, and Macy Bruggink, Issac and Natalie Luedtke; one sister, Charlene (Lee) Raymond of Texas; two brothers, Arthur (Diane) Hocevar of South Carolina and John (Debra) Hocevar of Sheboygan; his mother-in-law, Glorietta Trimberger of Oostburg; four sisters-in-law, Terry Trimberger of Oostburg, Connie (Carl) Wilterdink of Hingham, Lee (friend Don VanDeWege)Trimberger of Oostburg, and Mikealynn (Harley) Hendrickson of Elkhart Lake; four brothers-in-law, Joseph (Nancy) Trimberger, Nick (Beth) Trimberger, both of Oostburg, Jude (Gail) Trimberger of Cascade, and Gerard (Joan) Trimberger of Sheboygan Falls. Bob is also survived by many nieces and nephews, but had a special close relationship to Kyle (Jessica) Hagemeier and his children, Tyler, Lilly, Belle, and Violet. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and two fathers-in-law, Joseph Trimberger and Joseph Swenarski; and a nephew, Eric Loker. A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will take place at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 5:30pm with Fr. Phil Reifenberg officiating.
