Robert Bennin

Robert E. Bennin, 32, of the Minnesota House of Oostburg, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Center. Robert was born on January 3, 1981, in Sheboygan, son of Richard and Margaret (Kammann) Bennin. He attended Lightfoot School and was a 2002 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. Robert was a member of St. Peter Episcopal Church in Sheboygan Falls. He was a member of the Oostburg Friendship Club and New Dawn in Sheboygan. Robert enjoyed music, puzzles, walks, swimming, and will be remembered for being very social. Robert is survived by his parents, Richard and Louise Bennin of Sheboygan; four brothers, Jonathan (Amy) Bennin of Sheboygan Falls, Timothy (Sylvia) Bennin of Howards Grove, Sean (Krista) Damitz of Utah, and Matthew Damitz of Sheboygan; and one sister, Heather Damitz. Robert is also survived by nieces and nephews, Alexander and Alyson Bennin, Hadley Damitz, and Landon and Jayna Damitz; one uncle, Alfred (Luann) Bennin of Verona and one aunt, Marlene Kammann of Howards Grove. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Bennin. Funeral services to celebrate Robert's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at St. Peter Episcopal Church in Sheboygan Falls with Fr. John Cell officiating. Burial will take place in Siemers Cemetery in the Town of Herman. Relatives and friends may gather at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday from 1:00 until the time of the service at 3:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Robert's name for TLC Homes and Day Service.
