Richard Multer

Richard John Multer Richard J. Multer, 60, of N8939 West Shore Lane, St. Cloud, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Columbia-St. Mary Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon. Dick was born July 29, 1948 in Sheboygan, the son of the late Ronald and Esther (Caan) Multer. He was a 1966 graduate of Kohler High School and attended UW-Sheboygan and UW-Stevens Point. Dick served in the US Army in Viet Nam from 1968-70. Dick was a fork lift operator at Holland Cold Storage in Kiel for eight years. Previously he owned Riverview Restaurant in Kiel for 20 years. He was a realtor for many years-most recently with Cres Realty in Kiel. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed hunting, boating, golf and his dog, Buck. Survivors include his fiance' Kathy Keane of St. Cloud; one sister, Mary Jane (Hal) Smith of Middleton; one brother, Robert (Diana) Multer of Kiel; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A gathering to celebrate Dick's life will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in his name for Grace United Church Of Christ in Kohler.
