Richard Marti

Richard R. Marti, age 56, of Sheboygan Falls died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 unexpectedly at home due to failing health conditions. Rick was born on March 5, 1957 son of Ray and Carol (Krause) Marti. He attended schools in Sheboygan Falls and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1975. He also attended Lakeshore Technical College and graduated in 1977 with an automotive degree. Rick was married to the former Betty Daigle. He was employed by Sheboygan Glass and IDN H Hoffman in Milwaukee. Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors taking annual trips to northern Wisconsin. Rick always enjoyed watching his nephews and niece in their sporting and school activities. Rick coached FUFL football for many years and after coaching he could be found on the sidelines watching games and often being recruited to hold the yard markers which he did with pleasure. He also filmed Falcon football games for many years. Rick is survived by his mother Carol, his brother Paul (Cheryl) of Oostburg, his sister Julie (Rich) Roelse and his brother Kevin (Sara) both of Sheboygan Falls. He is further survived by his nephews Paul (Katie), Chad (Emily), Craig (Kathy), Jacob and Sam Marti, Michael and Brittany Rudebeck, and Jake (Rachel) and Nick Roelse and several great-nephews and nieces and many friends. Rick was preceded in death by his father. Memorial services to celebrate Rick's life will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at the Wenig Funeral Home at 711 Broadway Street, Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Mark Janzen officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Mercer Cemetery, Mercer Wisconsin. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 pm until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in Rick's name.
