Ralph Zinkgraf

Ralph G. Zinkgraf, 80, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at his home. Ralph was born June 18, 1930 in Town of Scott, to Robert and Elsie Louise (Lillge) Zinkgraf. He was a 1948 graduate of Plymouth High School. Ralph served in the U.S. Army from 1951-53. On February 20, 1954 he married Vivian Seider at St. Stephen's Church in Batavia. Ralph was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Sheboygan and the American Legion. Ralph is survived by his: wife, Vivian; one daughter, Joan (Mark) Handeland of DePere; two sons, Dale (Debra) Zinkgraf of Minnesota and James (Lynn) Zinkgraf of Appleton; six grandchildren, Steven Handeland, Jessica (Eric) Lanier, Ryan and Rachel Zinkgraf, Andrea and Dylan Zinkgraf; one sister-in-law, June Zinkgraf and nephew Robert L. Zinkgraf of West Bend; other relatives and friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his: parents; one brother, Robert Zinkgraf. Funeral services to celebrate Ralph's life will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Sheboygan with Rev. Tim Kuske officiating. A private family entombment with military honors will be in Gardens of Peace Mausoleum, Greenlawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may call from 1:00 pm until the time of the service Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ralph's name for Calvary Lutheran Church. Ralph's family would like to give special thanks to his neighbors, the staff at St. Nicholas Hospice, and Dr. Mark Bettag for their wonderful care and compassion.
