Ralph E. Neerhof, 84, of Waldo, died on Wednesday morning, July 31, 2019, at Pine Haven Residential Home where he had resided for the past two months.Ralph was born on January 5, 1935, in the Town of Lima, the son of Albert and Jennie (Hoftiezer) Neerhof. He attended Waldo High School. Ralph served in the US Army from 1955-57. On October 4, 1958 he married Alma Lammers in Cedar Grove. Ralph was a milk hauler for many years for local dairy farmers. Additionally, he cash-cropped on his 100-year homestead farm in the Town of Lima.Ralph was a longtime member of Hingham Church where he served as an usher and on the building and grounds committee. He was also a member of the Sheboygan County Farm Bureau. Ralph tractor pulled for 42 years, winning many 1st place trophies. He enjoyed bowling, golf, card playing, and traveling. Ralph looked forward to attending his grandchildren's activities, having coffee with his Hingham friends, and seldom missed a Milwaukee Brewers game.He is survived by his wife, Alma of Waldo; one daughter, Marjan (Thomas) Zeinert of Port Washington; one son, Bruce (Sharie) Neerhof of Kohler; four grandchildren, April (Ryan) Van Asten, Erin (fiancé Jonathan) Hameister, Ashley (Wesley) Gould, Austin Neerhof; four great grandchildren, Avery Gould, James, Cady and Trace; one sister, Muriel Storm of Eau Claire; one brother, Henry Neerhof of Sheboygan Falls; and one brother-in-law, Ray (Vera) Lammers of SC. Ralph is also survived by John Hameister of Sheboygan; nieces and nephews.Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, Carol Jean Neerhof; a brother, Edward (Marjorie) Neerhof; a sister-in-law, Marie Neerhof; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Storm.A funeral to celebrate Ralph's life will take place at the Hingham Church on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 10 am with Rev. Ken Moberg officiating. Burial will follow at Hingham Cemetery.Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 4-7 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until the time of the service at 10 am.For online condolences and additional information please visit
