Ralph C. Arndt, 93, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Ralph was born on October 2, 1922, in Chicago, son of Frank and Anna (Nickrandt) Arendt. He was a 1940 graduate of Lane Tech High School in Chicago. Ralph served in the US Army from 1942-1946. On August 12, 1944, he married Irene F. Kempe in Chicago. He was a lithographer and manager of Franklin Offset in Chicago until his retirement in 1984. They lived in Chicago and then Niles, IL, until 1987 when they relocated to Sheboygan Falls, to be closer to their son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. In his retirement, Ralph enjoyed building plank on frame wooden ship models and golfing. Ralph is survived by his son, Roger (Deborah) Arndt of Sheboygan Falls; three grandchildren, Megan (Steve) Boss, Joshua (Stephanie) Arndt, and Jonathan (Fiancé Alyssa Mork) Arndt; and one great granddaughter, Olivia Rose Boss. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Irene, his parents, and his sister, Lorraine (Edward) Godzicki. A private family memorial service will be held at Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Sheboygan. A memorial fund has been established in Ralph's name for Sheboygan County Meals on Wheels.
