Philip G, Mulder, 90, of Oostburg, passed away peacefully at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
Philip was born on February 6, 1933, in Waterford, WI, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerald (Amelia) Mulder.
Philip was a 1951 graduate of Oostburg High School. On September 18, 1959, he was united in marriage to Claudia Miller in St Joseph, Missouri. Claudia preceded Philip in death on January 17, 2018.
Philip was employed for over 17 years at Ricor as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed John Deere tractors, gardening, and cheering on his Green Bay Packers.
Philip is survived by his children; Scott (Denise) Mulder of North Port, FL, Joanna (fiancé, Christopher Carcich) Mulder of New York City, NY; sister, Yvonne Dumez of Oostburg and Gail Meerdink of Cedar Grove; and cousins, Linda VanderWeele, Lee Simmelink, Judith Mentink Brasser, and Stewart Mentink.
Philip was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia, daughter, Jan Onderko, parents, Gerald (Amelia) Mulder, brothers-in-law, Duane Dumez and Glenn Meerdink.
A private funeral service will take place at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg. Philip will be laid to rest next to his wife at Arrowhead Memorial Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, Rocky Knoll, and Pine Haven for their compassionate care.
