Perry Held

Perry C. Held, 59, of Sheboygan Falls, died on Friday morning, March 16, 2012, at Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center where he had resided since September. Perry was born on July 6, 1952 in Sheboygan, the son of the late Raymond and Rita (Miller) Held. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1970. Perry worked as a fork lift driver at the Kohler Co. for 41 years until his retirement in 2011. Perry was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed traveling and was a Star Trek fan. Perry was an avid NASCAR fan and was a model car collector. He enjoyed the time he spent at Sunny Ridge. Perry is survived by two sisters, Linda (Gene) Schlink of South Carolina, and Marlene (Gary) Weckwerth of Sheboygan Falls; two brothers, Thomas (Sandy) Held of Sheboygan and Donald (Karen) Held of Sheboygan Falls; nine nieces and nephews, twelve great nieces and nephews, and a special friend, John Chvarak of Sheboygan.. Funeral services to celebrate Perry's life will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls at 1 pm on Monday, March 19, 2012, with Dr. Robert Weber officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home on Monday from Noon until the time of the service at 1 pm.
