Paul Brian Lensink, 57, of Oostburg, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 14, 2011. He is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No more pain. Paul was born March 12, 1954 in Sheboygan County, WI to Wilfred and Laura (VerGowe) Lensink. Paul was a 1972 Oostburg High School graduate. On October 25, 1974, he married Sue Heinen at Gibbsville Reformed Church in Gibbsville. Paul worked as a letter carrier at the Sheboygan Falls Post Office where he loved his job and had many customers on his route that became friends. Paul was a member of Gibbsville Reformed Church where he was a Deacon, Elder, Mens Prayer Group Leader, and Sunday School Superintendent. Paul loved working in his yard and working in his shop. He could build or fix anything. The greatest joy in Paul's life was his family. He loved them and cherished the time he had with his grandson. Paul is survived by his: wife, Sue; two sons, Aaron Jon (fiance' Angela Knaub) Lensink of Wauwatosa, Andrew Brian (Katie) Lensink of Cedar Grove; one grandson, Noah Brian Lensink; two brothers, Mark (Joanne) Lensink of Oostburg, Dan (Lana) Lensink of Kohler; four sisters, Laurel (John) Fischer of Oostburg, Sandy Van Stelle of Oostburg, Mary (Warren) Theune of Oostburg, Ann (Gerald) Lammers of Oostburg; two sister-in-laws, Mary (Randy) Brill of Hingham, Patti (Dave) Vander Ploeg of Green Bay; two brother-in-laws, Steve Heinen of Oostburg, Mike (Kaye) Heinen of Hingham; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his: parents; brother, William Lensink; two brother-in-laws, John Van Stelle, Keith Ten Haken. Funeral services to celebrate Paul's life will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Gibbsville Reformed Church in Gibbsville with Rev. Luke Schouten officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Town of Holland. Relatives and friends may call from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, June 17, 2011, at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. A memorial fund has been established in Paul's name for Samaritans Purse and Rawhide. Paul's family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Kumar and the entire staff at Vince Lombardi Cancer Center for the wonderful care he received. Paul was a big hearted man who would help anyone. He tried to encourage and be a blessing to others, even as he dealt with illness.
