Patricia Vogt

Patricia G. Vogt, 80, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Patricia was born on April 11, 1935, in Holyoke, MA, daughter of John and Ann (Moriarty) Ginley. She was a 1953 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. On July 12, 1958, she married Edgar A. Vogt Jr. in Holyoke. Edgar passed away on November 2, 2013. Patricia was employed with the Telephone Company and Digital Computer Company prior to their move to Sheboygan Falls in 1985. She was then employed with Bemis Manufacturing for 13 years until her retirement in 1998. Patricia was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. Throughout the years she was active in numerous church activities. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, flowers, traveling, reading, and collecting Hummels and Longaberger baskets. Patricia enjoyed attending cultural events, including the theater and the symphony. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by many. Patricia is survived by her son, Edgar A. (Rose) Vogt III of San Francisco, CA; two grandchildren, Katherine and Anne Vogt; one sister, Jane McCarthy of Agawam, MA; one brother, Jerry (Mary) Ginley of Florida; and one sister-in-law, Sandra Ginley of Maine. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many close friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar, her sister, Ann Dittrich, and her brother, John (Jack) Ginley. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Patricia's life will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date. Relatives and friends may gather at the church from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am. A memorial fund has been established in Patricia's name for the Sheboygan Falls Lions Club, Prairie Crossing and Pine Haven Rehabilitation, and St. Nicholas Hospice.
