Patricia A. Luedtke, 73, of 1020 Park Avenue, Oostburg died at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday afternoon, March 4, 2010. Pat was born on June 5, 1937 in Oostburg, the daughter of Erwin and Ruth (Daane) TenPas. Pat attended Oostburg High School. On July 31, 1954 she married Fred Luedtke at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Pat and her husband owned Luedtke Electric in Oostburg. She worked as bookkeeper and secretary for the family business. In addition to her work at Luedtke Electric, Pat was an outstanding and appreciated homemaker for her husband and children. Pat was a lifelong member of the First Christian Reformed Church in Oostburg and the Red Hat Ladies. She enjoyed scrapbooking, rubber stamping, traveling, sewing, going out to dinner and spending winters in Arizona. She is survived by her husband, Fred; three daughters, Ruth Luedtke of Sheboygan, Beth Luedtke of Manitowoc, Tricia (Cliff) Morris of Oshkosh; two sons, Dan (Karen) Luedtke and Todd (Chris) Luedtke, both of Oostburg; eight grandchildren, Rebecca (Shane) Johnston, Nathan (Rebecca) Luedtke, Andrew Gallenberger, Allie Gallenberger, Hannah Luedtke, Chase Luedtke, Emily Morris and Brandon Woepse; one great grandaughter, Kallan Johnston; her mother, Ruth TenPas of Oostburg; one sister, Mary (Paul) Lammers of Hingham; two brothers, Roy (Ruth) TenPas of Gibbsville, and Burt (Judy) TenPas of Oostburg. Pat is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Erwin TenPas. A funeral to celebrate Pat's life will be held at the First Christian Reformed Church in Oostburg at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 with the Rev. Dr. Les Kuiper officiating. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in the Town of Wilson. Friends may greet the family at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Tuesday from 3-8 pm, and on Wednesday, at church, from 9:30 until the time of the service at 10:30 am.
