Patricia Kobus

Patricia Ann Kobus, 86, of Cedar Grove, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at her home with her family by her side. Patricia A. Prinsen was born on May 29, 1932, in the Town of Holland, WI, to Lester and Alice (Mentink) Prinsen. She was a graduate of Cedar Grove High School. On June 1, 1956, Patricia married Donald Kobus in Cedar Grove. Donald preceded Patricia in death on June 13, 2017. Patricia was employed at Musebeck Shoe Company for many years where she worked until the factory closed. Patricia was a member of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Cedar Grove. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, baking, crocheting, collecting salt and pepper shakers, and spending time with her family, especially her only grandson, Tyler. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Gail (Steve) Holzer of Oostburg; one son, Gary Kobus of Cedar Grove; a grandson, Tyler Holzer; and a brother, Murray (JoAnn) Prinsen of Oostburg. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Lester & Alice Prinsen, and her beloved husband, Donald Kobus.A funeral service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at 3:00 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg followed by a luncheon. A private burial will take place at Oostburg Cemetery.Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm. A memorial fund is being established in her name for the Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Cedar Grove and Compassus Hospice.
