Patricia Hesselink

Patricia L. Hesselink, 70, of 125 Spring Street, Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at her home. Patricia was born March 25, 1939 in Waldo, daughter of the late Leander Joseph and Hilda Anna (Thomas) Greisch. She was a 1957 graduate of Waldo High School. On November 1, 1956 she married Carl D. Hesselink in Dubuque, IA. Carl preceded her in death on July 21, 2007. Patricia was a member of New Life Community Church in Plymouth. She was an active member of the Humane Society of USA and the Disabled American Veterans Club. Patricia loved music and to dance. She enjoyed her plants and flowers and had a green house in her backyard. Patricia loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her pets. Survivors include three sons, Rick Hesselink of Sheboygan Falls, Brooks (Kris) Hesselink of Town of Sheboygan, and Curt (Laura) Hesselink of Broken Arrow, OK; nine grandchildren, Jesse, Sara, Jackie, Andrew, Abigail, Justin, Alex, Evan, and Wade; one great granddaughter, Lilly; two sisters, Karol Guscho of Shorewood, WI, Germaine (John) Bukovick of Milwaukee, WI; and one brother Roger (Vivian) Greisch of Plymouth, WI. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, four sisters, Margie Greisch, Olive Thomas, Margaret Koehler, and Geraldine Verhulst. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Bill Macosco officiating. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Patricia's name.
