Olivia Ninnemann

Olivia N. Ninnemann, 93, formerly of the Town of Wilson and a resident of Pine Haven Christian Home for the past five years died Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2011. Olivia was born on December 15, 1917 in Random Lake, the daughter of the late Herbert and Elda (Goetsch) Weinhold. She graduated from Random Lake High School in 1936 and then attended the Sheboygan Business College. Olivia was baptized, confirmed and married all by the late Dr. Edmund Huebner at St. John Lutheran Church in Sherman Center. She married Theodore Ninnemann on June 28, 1941 in Sherman Center. Theodore preceded her in death on July 21, 2000. Olivia did secretarial work at the Hayssen Mfg. Co. and Vinyl Plastics and also was a US Postal Carrier prior to her retirement in 1970. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan and was active in the LWML and Altar Guild. Together with her husband, Olivia enjoyed crafts, especially pottery, basket-weaving, and woodworking. Olivia was a poll worker in the Town of Wilson for many years. Olivia is survived by four nieces, Eileen (David) Diener, Suzanne (Russ) Sholten, Pat Machut, and Anne (Donald) Reznichek; six nephews, David (Roseann) Weinhold, Delmer Weinhold, Wesley (Peg) Weinhold, Gerhard (Pat) Weinhold, James (Marci) Ninnemann, and Larry (Michele) Ninnemann; three cousins, Doris Winter, Maurice (Gloria) Weinhold and Herbert (Myra) Goetsch; great nieces and great nephews; and great great nieces and nephews. Olivia was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; one sister, Elvira (Joseph) Machut; one brother, Raymond (Cornelia) Weinhold, and a nephew, John Machut. Funeral services will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 1:30 pm with the Rev. Adam Scheblein officiating. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may greet the family at the Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday from Noon until the time of the service.
