Norman R. Fenner, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away Monday morning, September 30, 2024 at his home. He was 84 years old.
Norman was born October 30, 1939 in Sheboygan Falls, the son of Adolph and Adeline (Schlichting) Fenner. He grew up in Sheboygan Falls, graduating from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1958. He went on to serve his country in the United States Army.
On June 3, 1967, he was united in marriage with Geraldine Tewelis at St. Peter Claver in Sheboygan. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2017, before Geraldine’s passing in 2018.
For 30 years, Norman worked for Sheboygan County Highway Department. Prior, he worked as a mechanic at Manny’s Automotive in Sheboygan Falls.
He was a lifetime member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, as well as the Sheboygan Falls Snowmobile Club. He loved trains, playing cards, traveling, attending concerts in the park, and tending to his yard and garden. He was a skilled mechanic and repairman, who enjoyed working on small engines and lawn mowers.
Norman is survived by his son John (Tina) Fenner of Sheboygan Falls, daughter Ann (Glen) Schultz of Port Washington; granddaughter Allison Schultz; beloved friend JoAnn Erhardt; step-grandchildren Joshua Schultz, Drew and Derek Willfahrt; sister Florence (James) Popp, brother David Fenner, brother-in-law Gerald Teske; sister-in-law Janet DeSombre; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Geraldine, his parents, parents-in-law Joseph and Anna Tewelis, sister Marlene (Harold) Meinert, infant sisters Arnita and Carol Fenner, sister-in-law MaryAnn Teske, brothers-in-law Paul DeSombre and Francis Tewelis.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30AM on Monday, October 7, 2024 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, N6193 State Rd 32 in Sheboygan Falls. A burial will take place at St. Lucas Cemetery in the town of Sheboygan Falls beside Geraldine. Relatives and friends may greet the family at church on Monday from 9:30-11:30AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
