Nancy E. Ploeckelman, 56, 711 Wilson Ave, Sheboygan Falls died Friday night, June 20, 2008 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice where she had resided for the past week. Nancy was born in Sheboygan on April 23, 1952, the daughter of the late George Turluck and Esther (Weber) Turluck. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1970. She married Gary Hinz in 1971. She married Robert Ploeckelman on December 5, 1988 in Sheboygan. She was a phlebotomist for the Blood Center of Southeast Wisconsin for the past five years. Previously she worked as a paramedic for Orange Cross Ambulance. Nancy was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 149. She was a volunteer for the Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Care Center and the REINS program. She enjoyed traveling, flowers, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Robert of Sheboygan Falls, two sons, Christopher (Shelly) Hinz of Sheboygan and Jeremy Hinz of Sheboygan Falls; her mother, Esther Turluck of Sheboygan Falls; two granddaughters, Emma and Olivia Hinz; two sisters, Edith (Jerry Baird) Rohrbeck of Kohler and Barbara (George Stumpanato) Turluck of New Rochelle, NY; three brothers, David Turluck of Sheboygan, Daniel (Gail) Turluck of Richland, MI, and Steven (Amy) Turluck, of Heidelberg, Germany; her father-in-law, Melvin (Alverda) Ploeckelman of Athelstane; one step daughter, Julie Ploeckelman of Sheboygan Falls; two step sons, Michael (Melissa) Ploeckelman of Sheboygan and Timothy Ploeckelman of Manitowoc; six step grandchildren, Brandice, Valerie, Dallas, Brooklyn Ploeckelman, and Travis and Andy Siegl. Nancy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and Jerome Lund of Roscoe, Illinois. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, George Turluck; a sister, Mary Ellen Niedfeldt; an infant nephew, Mark Neidfeldt; and her mother-in-law, Marie Ploeckelman. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 11 am with the Rev. John Radetski officiating. A private family burial will take place at St Rose Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Lima. Friends may call at Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday from 4-8 pm, and on Wednesday, at church, from 10 am until the time of the Mass at 11 am.
