Molly T. Payne

Molly Therese Payne, 21, gently passed away January 3, 2025 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Sheboygan Falls surrounded by her family. 

She was born on September 24, 2003 at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin to Samuel Payne and Julia (Schilling) Payne. Molly lived in Sheboygan County, cared for at home by her mother Julia and sister Jill. 

Molly loved caring for her stuffed monkey George 🐵, being sung to, listening to bad American Idol auditions, commenting on phone conversations and hearing about the latest adventures of her siblings. She will be remembered for her sharp, well-timed sassy humor. 

Molly is survived by her parents; her siblings Charles, Joseph, Jill, and Susanna Payne; her faithful, furry companion and protector Luna Mae Payne 🐶; her grandparents Luther and Therese Payne and Jill Schilling. Molly was preceded in death by her grandfather Dennis Schilling. 

A Memorial Service celebrating Molly’s life will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Wenig Funeral Home – Oostburg. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00-11:45am. Molly will be laid to rest at Gibbsville Cemetery. 

The family would like to thank Children's Hospital, Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center, Orange Cross Ambulance and Sharon Richardson Hospice for their care of Molly. Special thanks to Ann Hering and Brenda Schlider for years of sweet love and care.
