Minnie Mae Dulmes Minnie Mae Dulmes, 88, of Adell, died on Tuesday night, December 23, 2008 at Cedar Grove Gardens. She was born June 26, 1920 in Colby, the daughter of the late Hugo and Hortense (Rosin) Brehm. Minnie Mae graduated from UW Stevens Point in 1942. On April 12, 1951 she married LaMonte Dulmes in Hingham. She taught special education at Lightfoot School in Sheboygan Falls for many years prior to her retirement. Minnie Mae was a member of Hingham Reformed Church and the Adell American Legion Auxiliary. She was also the first woman to serve on the Random Lake School Board. She enjoyed crafts, baking, canning and her annual trips to Florida with her husband. She was especially fond of her only grandchild, Traverse Luke, and cherished any time she could spend with him. Survivors include her husband, LaMonte Dulmes of Pine Haven Christian Home; her son-in-law, David Such of Cascade; one grandson, Traverse Luke Such; her sister-in-law, Ruth Dekker of Pine Haven; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Dulmes. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg with the Rev. Andy Baker officiating. Burial will take place at Hingham Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Saturday from 9-11 am.
