Mildred "Molly" J. Forstner

Mildred “Molly” J. Forstner, 100, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Pine Haven Christian Communities – Haven Drive Campus.

Molly was born on May 11, 1924, to Edward and Margaret (Arnold) Marth in Plymouth. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1941.

On November 19, 1949, she was united in marriage to Sylvester Forstner. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2011.

Molly enjoyed sewing, especially making doll clothes for her nieces and their Barbies. Her first job was at the Cleveland Container in Plymouth and later would manage the apartment building next to her house on Buffalo Street. She and Syl were avid gardeners boasting the mist beautiful and tallest zinnias on the planet. Molly also took pride in her prize strawberry rhubarb and beefsteak tomatoes. Her strawberry rhubarb pie was to die for. Molly made sure that none of the food from her garden was wasted and each fall her freezer was full and her canning shelves filled to the edges. Her dill pickles and green beans (!) will be remembered fondly. 

Molly is survived by her nieces and nephews, Robert Aderman, Judith Gruenwald, Ann Mattes, Sherry (Marth), Vicki (Marth), Carol (Marth), and Michelle (Marth). James Aderman preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held for Molly at Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 12:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery next to her husband, Sylvester.

Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home from 11:00am until the time of service.
