Michael Kalk

Michael J. Kalk, 65, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at his home. Michael was born on July 4, 1950, in Plymouth, son of Melvin and Elda (Widder) Kalk. He graduated from Lightfoot School in Sheboygan Falls. During his youth, Michael spent many days playing and helping out at the Widder farm. Michael was employed with the Kohler Company for 43 years until his retirement in 2012. Michael was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls, where he served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the Kohler Company Quarter Century Club and a dartball league. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Green Packer fan. Michael will be greatly missed for his kind and generous spirit and his gentle nature. Michael is survived by his brother, Ron Kalk of Sheboygan Falls; sister, Eileen (Arlyn) Wessel of Sheboygan; four nieces and nephews, Missy (Andy) Selk, Arika (Matt) Bertucci, Chris (Robin) Kalk, and Susan Wessel; five great-nieces and great-nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Timothy Kalk, and his sister-in-law, Betty Kalk. Funeral services to celebrate Michael's life will be held at 11am on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Relatives and friends may gather at the church on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 9:30am until the time of service at 11am. A memorial fund has been established in Michael's name for Able Fellowship and The Gathering Place.
