Melvin T. Siebert, 58, of Plymouth, died Saturday, November 7, 2009 at St. Mary's Columbia Hospital in Mequon as the result of an automobile accident. Mel was born on April 23, 1951 in Sheboygan to Raymond and Marion (Watters) Siebert. He was a 1969 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. Melvin was employed as a material handler for Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. Mel was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. Mel enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, Nascar racing, and going for a drive. Mel is survived by his girlfriend, Connie Spring of Plymouth; one son, Lance (Julie) Siebert of LaSalle, IL; one daughter, Jessica (Brendan) Biever of Sheboygan; two granddaughters, Aubery Siebert and Keira Biever; two brothers, Gerald (Jane) Siebert of Sheboygan Falls and James Siebert of Wausau, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service for Mel will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Mark Janzen officiating. Inurnment will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date. Family and friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial fund will be established in Mel's name.
