Maxine Foesch

Maxine D. Foesch, 85, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 23, 2010 with her family by her side. Maxine was born December 11, 1924 in Olewein, IA to Rance and Ruth (Mourer) Rasmussen. She was a 1943 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. She worked as a cashier at the Sheboygan Falls Theatre at the Kohler Co. office in the engineering department. On May 4, 1946, Maxine married Clifford Foesch in Sheboygan Falls. Clifford died June 24, 1976. She also worked in sales at the H.C. Prange Co. for nine years. Maxine was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls. She was a member of the Republican Party where she worked on the election board for 25 years. She also volunteered at the Red Cross. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and reading. Maxine is survived by: two sons, James Foesch of Sheboygan and Timothy (Patricia) Foesch of Sheboygan; two grandsons, Andrew (Nikki) Foesch of Reedsburg, WI and Adam (Jessica Bacher) Foesch of Stevens Point, WI; one brother, Howard (Jean) Rasmussen of Sheboygan Falls; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Maxine was preceded in death by: her parents; husband Clifford; one son George; two sisters, Betty Rusch and Mary Jane Loose. Private family services for Maxine will be on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls, with Chaplain Bob Lantz of Heartland Hospice officiating. Interment will be in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Maxine's family would like to give special thanks to Heartland Hospice and Linda Voight for their friendship, care, and support.
