Mary Yancey

Mary E. Yancey, 64, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening, February 12, 2015, at her home. Mary was born on December 27, 1950, in Sheboygan, daughter of William and Annette (Schultz) Manz. She attended Sheboygan South High School. On April 5, 1969, she married Michael A. Yancey in Sheboygan. Mary enjoyed training and showing dogs. She was previously a member of the Sheboygan County 4-H Dog Training Club, the Sheboygan Dog Training Club, and the Greyhound Rescue. Mary was the breeder of the first Sheboygan County K-9 Dog. Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years, Michael; her daughter, Dawn Yancey of Sheboygan; her son, Matt (Rachel) Yancey of Sheboygan; two grandsons, Austin and Bryce Yancey; mother-in-law, Doris Yancey of Sheboygan; and a sister-in-law, LaVonne (John) Frank of Madison. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Russell Yancey. Relatives and friends may gather at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. A memorial fund has been established in Mary's name.
